like others have said, youre watching the best boxers in the world

not the best boxers in an imaginary world with shrink rays or a world where guys gain 50 lbs and keep the same speed and coordination

      just the best, period

As said, the heavyweight champ is the best. No catchweights or anything.
Today the division is horrible compared to the past, but when the division has some depth (70's and even the 90's), every fight could be different.

In the 70's, Ali lost to Frazier, Frazier lost to Foreman, Ali beat Foreman.
Foreman ducked Jerry Quarry, who Ali and Frazier beat. Quarry KO'd Shavers, the hardest hitting fighter ever.
Even the journeyman in the division can KO the best (Buster over Tyson).
The division now is a joke, hate to say it. Deontay Wilder being champ is proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Have you ever seen a fighter get a "title" shot, without fighting anyone?
I don't think the division is better now, but all time, there is no doubt is has the best fights and most fireworks.
Best fight ever? Ali vs Frazier 3
