Comments Thread For: Trey Lippe-Morrison Demolishes Thomas in 80 Seconds

Miami, OK – Rising heavyweight sensation Trey Lippe-Morrison of Tulsa, OK continued his march towards becoming a player in the heavyweight division by scoring a devastating 80 second knockout of Bobby Thomas at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, OK.

Fighting in front of a sold out crowd and with legendary trainer Freddie Roach in his corner, Lippe-Morrison was a man on a mission from the opening bell. With his fans cheering him on in hope of another knockout, Lippe-Morrison connected with a hard right hook to Thomas' head just over a minute into the opening stanza, sending Thomas to the canvas. The referee started to count before realizing Thomas was in no position to continue, waiving the bout off at 1:20.

I'm glad he's working with Roach. This will improve his chances of being a successful heavyweight tenfold.

He's still very raw and his defense is suspect. The guy he was fighting was able to land his shots easily on Morrison, but he lacked power to make a difference.

Morrison needs to tighten up his defense and be a little more patient with his offense

Hes 26 with 10 fights against bums and no amateur career. He wont go very far.

Theres a few of his fights over in the video thread, theyre all against terrible bums, no head movement, fat cab drivers ect.

He waited too long to decide he wanted to be a boxer.

Hes got more fights like that, saw one with a fat black guy, same thing, the opponent was the better boxer, trey won soley on being better conditioned, hes damn lucky the guy couldnt punch because he was landing. If they pick a guy with power that doesnt know hes "supposed to" lose, trey is getting laid out.
