Didn't GSP also say that before his last fight? Wonder if it will be that long a hiatus. Probably close to a year, at least.

I think this has been on the schedule for a lil while doe. She's filming a couple movies (Roadhouse remake & a biopic on her book or some other film) from my understanding. I believe the original plan was to comeback for the big UFC 200 card in Vegas. I'm assuming thats still a go.

The reality is she probably could just quit ala GSP. She's probaby made $20M+ in the last few fights. I could think of some funner **** to do than getting hit in the head if I had a 8 digit bank account.

I am a fan of both sports. First boxing fight to watched(TV) was in the 80's and UFC in 94-95(video tapes). I have watched more boxing fights, regular broadcast or ppv. Attended 5 boxing and 2 MMA events.

Jiu jitsu, muay thai, judo, wrestling, karate, sambo, and others, boxing is one of the arts in mixed martial arts. To say boxing/boxer beat MMA, just don't sit well. Holm did not box in the sense of the sports of boxing, i didn't see it. Just like other fighters who train in boxing, adapted boxing into an MMA style. The way she moves is way different from how she box. You guys think Pac, Floyd, Cotto, and other boxers will fight in MMA like the way they fought in boxing? Of course not.

And lets get real, Holly has 9 fights when she started in 2011. While Rousey has 12 since 2010. So it's not exactly a mismatch. Holly used MMA to beat Rousey, not "boxing". She countered Rousey on a take down. And she did well in escaping/getting up again.

The reach and height difference, Holm is just an inch longer/taller. But in the fight, Rousey looks smaller. Rousey should have tried to make the fight stay in the middle of the ring. She just followed/chased Holly. Holly did great though using her stand up skills.

I don't like Rousey cause she is ****y, her attitude. She is always way to closed to her opponent during the face off at the weigh in. Then seems to blame the opponent when it escalates, like the Holm weigh in. I have been waiting for her to get beat and someone to beat but i wasn't surprise that Holm KO'ed her. She reminded of Floyd when it comes to opening their mouth.

I know most of you will disagree with me, but hey, every body has their own opinion. Let the hate begins........................

rousey caught the mayweather counters right down the middle. The spirit of floyd money mayweather was written all over that fight. The movement and straight clean punching. Then that devastating kick. Bam!!!
