Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya, who won 10 world titles in six weight classes after claiming 1992 Olympic gold at age 19 in Barcelona, believes in "daring to be great" and said Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, 25-years-old, faces a pivotal opportunity on Nov. 21 against Miguel Cotto.

People are going to b*tch about this, but I agree with Oscar this fight needs to build. As a GGG fan, I'd rather see Canelo establish himself at MW like Tito did prior to Hopkins. Tito running through Vargas, Reid, then Joppy created momentum to the point Bernard was an underdog. If Golovkin beats Alvarez now, he won't receive alot of credit like what happened with Lemeiux.
