GGG team should consider this, Lara moving up to 160 is a good win to have to his resume but it sure as hell wont be no PPV fight but a good name to add to the hit-list and make no mistake about it Lara would lose and lose badly

OMG Lara was running against Canelo, he'd jump out the ring against Golovkin.

Why? GGG could fight his IBF mandatory Tureano Johnson in Feb get that out of the way. Then fight Lee for a unfication, Then he can get all 4 belts at 160 just in time to move to 168 in later 2016

Granted that Lee wins I think he would offer a fight to Golovkin but If worse scenario happens you seen what Saunders said, he doesn't want it.

I'm sure the IBF would grant two defenses against much bigger fishes of the boxing world in Lara and Lee, its all hypothetically speaking at this stage ofcourse.

Why should anyone think GGG don't beat Lara? Would be a short night, Lara cant handle power well.

At first GGG had no skills, no defense, would never defeat a slick boxer.

He gets hit easily, would get knocked out by a real puncher.

GGG stops Geale, Murray, Monroe, Macklin, Rosado, knocks out Stevens and Lemieux who are the hardest punchers in middleweight.

People keep bringing up names and downplaying even world class fighters around GGGs weight class.

Its pathetic to see boxing fans trying to downplay everyone and call world class fighters bums because there is one elite fighter who is just one level above.

In some people's book there exist only 1-2 elite fighters and the rest is trash. Thats just sad.
So true! Lara is a good skilled boxer but stylewise ist gonna be short win because he cant handle GGGs power and there is no way Lara avoids that power for 12 rounds.

Even the eye-test confirms that Lara is a better fighter.

                  Sec, I'm gonna try something.....

FACT: I am 100% positive that Lara would beat Golovkin

                  Yep, it worked.....

It is comforting to know that I most likely will not be proven wrong.

Team Hypekin simply don't wanna take the Lara test.

They don't wanna risk looking bad against a known mover/spoiler.

                  Lame.

Ok, just for the sake of the argument, if for some reason, Oscar, Bob and Al sit down for brunch tomorrow and all becomes right in the world of boxing and everyone could fight whoever, wouldn't the winner of Quillin/Jacobs be a much more qualified opponent to fight GGG? With the much better chance to win? I think so. Quite frankly, I think the loser of that fight and Andy Lee give him more trouble than Lara. I'd rather see those fights first.

Assuming GGG is going to keep fighting 3 times a year (and he might not) if there was some way they could work Lara in there I wouldn't mind it, but to act like this is the great challenge he's avoiding is crazy.

Just because Lara is running his mouth he gets to move up in weight and jump the line? Well Tim Bradley said he'd fight him too. Do we want to see that fight?

What don't people get about what was said, Lara priced himself out

Lara straight up made it too costly for HBO to pull the trigger. If Lara would take a pay cut, this fight would have been done.

They have to be able to justify the cost, and Lara versus GGG doesn't at what Lara wants.
