Oh I wasn't really going for a specific order. I just think they are the top three. Pound for pound is such a mythical and confusing prospect anyway. I'd agree with you on the top five, although those two need to get in the rind to keep that status. It's fine to be great but to get the ranking I think you need to regularly prove it.

Yea, its about momentum..... Rigo/Ward and possibly Pacquiao are static/slipping..... Gonzales/GGG/Kovalev are still on the rise.

      Fun times ahead.

I don't have Golovkin ahead of Rigo/Ward, nor Kovalev...... not yet anyways.

But Rigo/Ward are static/slipping for sure.

The winners of Ward/Kovalev, Rigondeaux/Lomachenko, Crawford/Pacquiao, would ALL clearly surpass Golovkin because they are fighting/beating much better opponents..... especially if Golovkin doesn't fight the Cotto/Canelo winner, but even if he does.

Of course, those fights are still a good ways away...if they even happen. I certainly hope they do. I've read where Pac will face Khan next which I would love to see but the Crawford fight looks great as well. Would be huge for Crawford if he could win. I really don't see Ward beating Kovalev but you never know. Rigo-Loma would be interesting, but I'm not sure it would be exciting as far as the fight itself. I would favor Loma as he stays much busier and I think that could sway the judges in a close fight. I hope all of these fights happen next year. 2016 will be quite special if they do. I'm willing to bet next year is better for boxing than this year, which has been detrimental with the "Fight of the Century" although I think all the PBC network fights have given it a boost. With regular viewers and some good cards, the rise in viewership could be quite noticeable next year.

I think that fight is gonna play out way different than you think

I hope Ward and Kovalev get some momentum going heading into that fight.

... probably he doesn't have a resume because of his "skills alone"...

Well, Kovalev has the hard punches, great footwork and discipline to beat any light heavyweight. Plus Ward is coming up. This will be the toughest fight he's ever had. Kovalev will find him and hit him often.

                  Kovalev won't hit Ward often.

Ward is probably the most well-rounded fighter on the planet.

Dude hasn't lost since he was a kid, amateur or professional.

Kovalev will not be the one, he is gonna have his hands full my friend

                  Great fight, can't wait.

Pro fighters and major media outlets recognize Gennady as the greatest/most feared fighter of all time, meanwhile 8 online trolls do not LOL. Owned.
