What Can Fonfara do Differently in a Stevenson Rematch?

This seems to be on track. If I recall, Stevenson started strong and Fonfara just couldn't avoid that straight left. He made some adjustments and had a decent stretch run but it was to little to late.

Does anyone think Fonfara can win a rematch? What can he do different to turn the tide in his favor?

Fonfara will have a punchers chance vs stevenson. But overall he is very outgunned vs adonis

He needs to fight Stevenson in close and stay out of range of that straight left. Adonis is successful when he keeps distance, works his 1-2, and incorporates some basic foot work. I think if fonfara makes it a nasty, in close, fight he has a great chance. I'm hoping fonfara wins because I believe he'd fight a guy like beterbiev. Someone Adonis won't fight because of their shared company. It would open up the division quite a bit.

I was convinced that he was sharper and smarter when he fought Chavez. However, his last fight convinced me that he's never beating Stevenson. Too easy to hit, not enough power to dissuade someone from hitting him. Fonfara's best chance is if Adonis has an off night.

He did drop Adonis pretty badly in their fight. I think cleverly is just a really tough bastard. He's not a huge puncher, but he's got good power.

Saw this fight last night. He needs to move his head, throw his jab (Fonfara has a good jab) double it up.

When Adonis throws his left hand to the body, shoot and uppercut, if it misses get Adonis with a left jab, a strong left jab and pivot.

              Adonis was gassed around 7-8.

Lift him up with those uppercuts also.

If this fight happens, I would give Fonfara a good chance to win. I won't mind Fonfara Stevenson 2.

Adonis was hurt. Fonfara will have to get a bit dirtier (both hit low, elbows, hugging, headbutts)

I would really put money on Fonfara in a rematch.

dont give adonis that space to line you up, he only has 1 punch.

I think the only way Fonfara wins this fight is if Stevenson has slipped a lot and we just don't realize it due the dreadful fights he's had lately.
