????? I'm a lil lost on what your trying to say?? GGG has been put in the ring with the equivalent of flies hitting me??? NONE had a chance to beat him. Even if he was USC's old coach and showed up drunk...He still would be alright! Are you REALLY comparing a LHW hitting you to a FKN overRATED Canadian who was KO'd by Rubio???? Hitting you?

That is what HBO and ME have continually stated.

But even though Ward's fight with Brand fell over, he will still want those 2 tuneups I'm sure..... he's not gonna be pushed into doing anything..... just like Kovalev with the Stevenson situation.

It's all good, and still right on track according to Duva.
The details are now official , Ward can't fight anyone but Kov after 6/16 as per his 3-fight contract.

This dude has become a complete joke. Totally acting entitled, sincerely believing he's some A-side superstar with platinum bargaining chips.

          1. No one outside of maybe 7 members on Boxingscene want to see him fight.
          2. He hasn't done anything significant in the sport of boxing in about 5 years. A sport where you're only as important as your last fight to casual fans.
          3. He bring nothing but ego and difficulty to the table.

I can understand why this fight has to wait. For this fight to take place, both of these guys are going to want PPV money, big money. As of right now, Ward vs Kovalev is not PPV money.

They will need to build this up over time, Ward is going to have to be active again, and Kovalev needs to keep being busy.

Ward vs GGG was the same thing, these dudes would want 5 million + each to fight. It would have to be PPV, but who would buy it? To me it has even more potential to be a success than Ward vs Kovalev. At least GGG is popular. Kovalev is not big enough when it comes to popularity.

I don't think we will see any of them fight, unless one of them becomes breakthrough enough a carry a PPV on their own.

              You're right.....

Andre Ward raised a few eyebrows during his recent appearance on 'the Fight Game with Jim Lampley' on HBO when he intimated to Michelle Beadle that he would not be rushed into a fight with light-heavyweight Sergey Kovalev. The belief is that Ward's new multi-fight deal with HBO would call for him to face 'the Krusher' at some point next year.

              It's great news !

But, even taking ALL that into consideration..... he would still spank that hypejob back down to 160.

Ward will not be pushed into doing anything rash..... he will still want his 2 tuneups..... just like Kovalev would not be pushed into doing anything rash regarding the situation with Stevenson.

It's all good..... things are still on track ^^

i NEVER hear ANYBODY saying "i'm gonna go watch the fight game with jim lampley" NOBODY says that
i like to watch boxing but when it comes to those network shows they ALL have agendas so i'd rather the YTBC(YouTube Boxing Community)
Come on man, don't act like HBO has some special agenda that other networks don't have. They promote their boxers just like PBC promotes theirs. They are trying to get Ward on their network but he is ducking and dodging the one fight they want him to take.

You're absolutely correct...I said the GRJ win is about to expire and Loma needs to re up....I'm not saying Ward don't need a refill...I'm just saying he don't need to jump in with the BEST LHW on the planet IMMEDIATELY....Ward been inactive for along time....I don't care how good he is, he need some rounds and some tough work before trying to climb Mount Krusher....that's ALL I'm saying.....in the meantime dudes like Pascal and a couple more Krusher leftovers can get it....ANY top 5 LHW should be on Ward's radar after his next gimme....by then he should be oiled and ready(pause)

I don't think there's anyone who wanna see Krusher-Ward MORE than me...I seriously doubt that...truthfully!!....Let Ward warm up, shoot around a bit and when he's ready to take his warm up off Krusher will be waiting at center court ready for the jump ball....hopefully by then he'll have clown ass Adonis's straps....Krusher-Ward can and should be HUGE....just let Ward eat up some top LHW appetizers before the main dish...that's all!!
