The best way to beat Wilder would be good head movement, quick, sharp counter attacks, and a good inside game.

I doubt Glazkov possesses all these strengths, but being a smaller heavyweight, he should definitely train speed as his best weapon.

Depends on what they're offering him. Money now is worth much more than money later, especially if you take into consideration risk premiums (maybe Klitschko retires before the fight is made, maybe Glazkov loses a tuneup or gets into an accident and cant box anymore) and the potential upside (winning the title would mean a multimillion payday unification)

Definitely a fight worth taking if the money is right.

Glazkov is due for a loss, and Wilder will win the fight. But it's still a good voluntary defense imo. Glazkov brings more dimensions to his game than guys like Molina and Duhaupas who basically just had good chins.

Fight shouldn't even be happening, wait two more months and have a fight in late March against Povetkin, this fight just makes no sense at all.

Why can't Povetkin just fight in January?

I would assume with the fact Povetkin suffered a cut in the fight with Wach that he would not be fully ready for that date to get in adequate amount of training however I could be wrong and he might need less time to recover from that.

I feel like Glazkov is a guy that could just come up with a spectacular performance from seemingly nowhere. The guy has skill but seems to be lazy in certain fights that he maybe feels are easily winnable without exerting himself. When he really goes for it and is focused and throws a lot of power shots, he is a solid fighter with a good amateur background and he is usually in great shape.

Overall, this is a good fight for Wilder, and although i'll be rooting for Czar if this happens, I make Wilder the clear favourite because of his superior size and power. In terms of boxing skill I think Glazkov is probably ahead, but he won't win on that alone.

Povetkin's team stated they will not be ready until April or May. Wilder will be ready in April and May. Blame Povetkin. Either way, this would be a good opportunity for Wilder to add a 2nd top 10 HW to his resume before the Povetkin fight.
