Comments Thread For: Froch: Why Not Give DeGale a Pasting Next Spring!

FORMER IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch has revealed he is contemplating coming out of retirement in order to give a 'pasting' to the belt's current holder James DeGale.

Froch, 38, called time on his glittering 12-year career in July.

Prior to his decision to vacate his IBF title and retire, the Nottingham native was on a collision course with DeGale - who became the mandatory challenger for the strap with a fourth-round TKO victory over Brandon Gonzales at Wembley in May 2014.

Wouldn't even fill out Bluewater in Kent.

      Stay home, Sloth.

Shut the fu ck up and go away. You have absolutely no intention of fighting Degale or GGG. Your just waiting for another moron like Chavez Jr

I like Froch, but it's annoying that he'll only consider the domestic fight over the one that he initially dangled out for all of us to get excited over (GGG). Degale is about as charismatic and exciting as a block of wood. Who can get excited over this?

Stay retired, you are already making a fool out of yourself.

"Too big and too strong for GGG" and then you ran like a little biatch.
