"The thing is, as far as boxing, it's all about taking risks and taking chances. I did it. I took risks. I took chances."
When did Floyd take risks or take chances? The biggest risk I can remember him taking was facing Castillo at 135. A fight most believe he lost.

Ward fighting Kovalev in his first bout at 175, or GGG fighting Ward in his first fight at 168, would both be far riskier fights than anything Floyd Mayweather did in his entire career.

        That's doubblestandards.
He's been through 5 weight classes over 19 years, and Golovkin hasn't been to his second in 11. Where is this double standard you speak of?

Black panther members throwing the race-card are really damn pathetic, we all know what you are and you throwing racist accusations out it doesn't hide your racist ways.

Someone also tell him nobody views Floyd as white.

The only people agreeing with Floyd are idiots, can't hold that back its just absolutely ludicrous of him to say such ****** ****.

A boxing fan would demand all fights cuz they would all be great, a boxer fans will demand only the fights that his favorite boxer can win and try to find reasons for all other fights not to happen.

Fanboyism at its best. I don't recall Floyd fans talking about him not needing to fight Pacquiao, everyone asked for the fight but the whole argument was about the negotiations and terms of conditions like testing and money split, in the case of GGG his fans don't even want the fight with to be negotiated and giving excuses like Ward is not a draw and all the bs that has nothing to do with the actual fight. And these are of course the same people who criticized other fighters for making business decisions even though they were already proven HOFers.
How the hell do you propose making those fights if one loses? Why would Kovalev fight Ward if GGG beat his ass down. Why would Cotto/Canelo fight GGG if Ward beat his ass?

If you can't see that this is the way to get 2 good fights, GUARANTEED, then that's on you.

Nobody said that GGG has to face Ward in his first fight at 168, I would've applauded him if he said he needed a tune up or 2 first at 168 till he grows into the weight then fight Andre Ward, but he shut down the option completely, Ward is trying to do the same thing against Kovalev and nobody should have a problem with that, u need sometime to grow into the new weight.

Regarding Floyd, tell me one fighter that even tried to move up 5 weight classes to fight him like he did against Dela Hoya to become the superstar that he become, tell me who in this era moved up 5 weight classes and became a champ in all of them? Very very few, and that's taking risks, if it was too easy everybody would've done it.

Joe Frazier was an example of all that, that's why people of all races liked him.

You know what's worrying about this thread?
People with high rep are actually agreeing with Floyd on this one, kind of goes to show you how racially motivated a lot of these users are I feel bad for them that they must lead their lives with such racially motivated hate driven attitude.
