Comments Thread For: Mayweather Claims Conspiracy To Create a White Star

Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26KOs) was a controversial figure for much of his career, and he continues to generate headlines in his retirement.

Mayweather voiced a strong opinion on the current landscape in boxing, explaining what he believes to be a certain level of favoritism, at least politically, when it comes to certain races and ethnicities.

Hahaha Can't a brother catch a break??? Why won't the powers that be in boxing ever allow a black brother to be a star of the sport.....?

i think him and ggg positions are vastly different in terms of the money made. But surely ward vs GGG would be a pretty big fight, just not there yet. I think they are gonna wait til ward and Kov fight and see what those numbers do, just like ggg/cotto or ggg/canelo. It would be a lie think the powers that be aint tryna sell ggg as the next big thing without the added pressure to go up in weight and take a challenge tho

Surprisingly lucid and honest statement by Floyd. I rarely agree with much of what he says but when he cuts the BS, he's really down to earth.

          He has a point.

Whether it's a race thing or not. They definitely know who they want their next star to be and keeping him as far away from perceived threats like Ward is their main priority.

Who is forcing Andre Ward to move up?

              And Pacquiao isn't Caucasian.

So Mayweather says pressure to push Ward up is part of a Caucasian conspiracy, then demands the Caucasian, Golovkin move up to get knocked out by the brother Ward. Shrewd.

He also appears to think Manny Pacquiao was also Caucasian, which is why they were pressuring Floyd into taking a fight with him.

Damn for such a defensive genius as Floyd it sure seems like he has suffered a great deal of brain damage in his career.

                    Another "conspiracy."

What's next, Haymon not being allowed opportunities?
