Same old Bradley and same old Rios. Rios was always slow, always poor head movement. Bradley would have beat him up 4 years ago too.

The only thing different if Bradley was more dedicated to the body, but I don't think that was Atlas more so than the guy in front of him.

What a hating ass article. This is the same Brandon Rios that steps in the ring every fight. Weight and punch output have always been his issue. The only reason they down play Rios is to knock Bradley. Cause, let's face it, that's what has been done through out his career.

I agree full heartedly with Lyle. Maybe the change was good, maybe it wasn't, but we don't know for sure right now. As far as a good fight for your first with the trainer, yes I agree this was a good start. I just want to see him with the caliber of fighter he should be matched against before I say its a brand new Bradley.

A lot of people downplay the teaming of Bradley & Atlas, because Rios came to the fight already retired. I believed that if Bradley did win, it wouldn't be impressive, as most of his latest wins have not been-and some were even gifts (Pacquiao 1, Provodnikov). I didn't know that Rios would come in such a poor manner though. However, I do give props to Atlas, because I saw a more focused Bradley, & after the fireman speech, I saw a KO. Will Tim be able to look so good against some of the elite in the division? Only time will tell. But as for this fight, I liked what I saw in Bradley & Atlas.

It's not that he beat Rios, it's the fact that he boxed responsively, used the jab, went to the body, threw combinations, and took the guy out. Nobody expected Tim to win that decisively. The guy who wrote this is a hater.

I concur with everything written in this article. A damn good win for Bradley but.......he had a punching bag in front of him. Rios stated after the fight that his body was ready for retirement. To listen to the HBO crew Bradley suddenly became the baddest welterweight on the planet when in actuality, all he did was beat up on an already beaten fighter. I knew by the end of the third round that Rios wasn't going to make it to 12. He's a shot fighter who should remain retired. Like he said, he's been through many wars so now it's time to hang em up. I'll withhold judgement on Bradley until he fights one of the elites, then if he succeeds, I'll give him his props.

Rios weighing in at 170 on fight night is all you need to know.

Nothing wrong here, he is just stating the obvious. I said the same thing before the fight. That Bradley would win and they would claim it's because of Atlas. We have to see him against a higher caliber fighter to see what the Atlas/Bradley duo is all about.
