Tim IS a very good fighter but the jury is still out on this one as far as I'm concerned.

We'll only know if this is a new and improved Bradley once he fights someone at the top of the division. Rios was clearly on his last legs if he was talking retirement just before the Bradley fight.

I haven't read the article but I can tell from the title that I agree with Lyle Fitzsimmons. You heard people saying it is the best Bradley has ever looked, which is pretty huge insult to the entirety of his career.

He essentially performed against a moving sandbag. He did what he was supposed to do but his victories over Witter, Holt, Peterson and Marquez were more impressive.

It is difficult to tell how much he has improved because better opponent come with the type of pressure that can throw you off script.

It really bugs me when people can't see improvements in form and technique and tactics just because the opponent isn't elite.

Boxing has the most loyal fans. It also has some of the most uneducated. It has the most haters. Anyone who has been following Bradley's career knows that was one of his best technical performances ever. Not that Rios was elite what Bradley looked like. Straighter punched less slapping tighter defense efficient movement combos getting out angles less toe to toe. But atlas didn't help at all? Haters hate

Rios was out of shape. He struggled to make weight FFS. He hadn't trained properly, he hadn't looked after himself between bouts, his camp was a weight loss programme and he barely succeeded. He looked flabby and fleshy and had no core which Tim then exploited.

I 100% agree with the article. Bradley would have whooped that version of Rios with his wife in the corner smothering his face with her massive cleavage and depriving him of oxygen inbetween rounds.

Bradley would have whooped Rios that night with no trainer! Atlas is still a hack. The 8th round speech was totally pre-prepared. Bradley was totally dominating but Teddy the hack had to have spotlight on him. Complete joke!!

He did show some wrinkles he's never consistently shown before, but it's hard to know how much of that was his opponent.

I disagree. You don't change an elite fighter but you tweak things. Bradley made a concentrared effort to constantly change angles, place his head to the side while he's on the inside, not get to greedy and not drop his hands when backing away. These are a few of the mistakes that led to scary moments in past fights.

The most overblown win ever, it's almost as bad as the folks crowing about Garcia beating Morales. Yeah it's a scalp but what version of that scalp? We knew Rios years ago couldn't deal with a fighter not engaging him at his strengths..Jab..jab..hook beats Rios 10/10. Tim looked good doing it but c'mon...it's RIOS!

Does boxing hold any mental aspects? If so, then a fighter believing that someone or something helps, can only make them better. Nice job though Lyle, using your appointed position to downplay and bash another man's accomplishment.
