              Someone who has a financial interest.
              For those who think it doesn't happen, there was recently an FBI sting in which an NY state official was busted for taking a bribe to push through mma legislation. To think that bribing judges ended with the mafia is a mistake. Though, I think it's often blamed in cases of poor and prejudicial judging.

                    Hadn't heard about the MMA thing. Will have to look into that.

                    I doubt anyone is surprised this goes on. Seems like politicians are doing this nearly out in the open still.

                    As far as boxing judges go they must have a slick system or no one ever puts much time or money into trying to catch them cuz I don't think I've ever heard of any judge getting caught & they are often considered corrupt by fans, boxers, trainers & sometimes even promoters themselves.
