hes overrated to be honest
He did tweak Maidana it seems to make him a better fighter and has produced a good fighter in his younger brother.
But other than that Rios is a punching bag, just like Magarito. Magarito just got worse training with Garcia.
Donaire didnt even really train wight Garcia, it was his father. Furthermore Donaire just really turned into a puncher with good footspeed/counterpunching a bility. But as far as cutting the ring and chasing opponents he was mediocre.

Freddie's guys weren't definitely out for good after the run of losses though. He's been vindicated though with Chavez Jnr's free fall after leaving him, Pac's comeback to beat Bradley and Amir Khan's largely poor form against poor opposition.

Freddie Had somewhere to go after the bad run. Where can Robert Garcia go?
