All I said was he took the safer route. I'm not criticizing him. Bradley did the same thing by resigning with Top Rank to be a big fish in a small pond and not ha e to fight the best welterweights. Fighters make business decisions and that's OK.

There was no attempt by Team GGG to negotiate or counter. They just flat out don't want the fight.

It's fine, we get a real fight between Ward and Kovalev instead.

Nobody is committing to 50/50 wanting B sider like Ward having Canelo/Cotto in the pipeline.

Roc Nations contract wanted to tie Golovkin up, and on Ward's schedule who the hell knows how that will go. Example, look at Ward-Brand, at the earliest Golovkin is looking at mid 2016. Long time for a guy like Golovkin to go without fighting. If Golovkin asked for more fights, 3 for example, he could have that done in a year, Ward could take 3 years. The tie up, plus the 50/50, and at 168 was not gonna work.

Ward should campaign at 168, getting the ball rolling, that's how it should be done, then see where things stand, no tie up.
