Comments Thread For: Callum Smith Demolishes Rocky Fielding In One Round

It was billed as 50-50, it was billed as 60-40… in the end the result was emphatic as Callum Smith obliterated Rocky Fielding in one round to win the vacant British super middleweight title.

In front of a 10,000 sold-out Echo Arena in both fighter’s home city of Liverpool, it looked positive for Fielding with his jab in the opening seconds rocking Smith’s head back.

Very confused by the use of the word clunge there.

Calum should fight Badou Jack. Hard to know how good he is other than he is better than British and European class.

Similar career trajectory than Kell Brook only he has reached that level in much less time.

His temperament is spot on though. I suspect he out points Jack.

Didn't expect him to walk through him like that, would like to see him out against Groves and on that might have to pick him !

I think Smith would stop Groves now.

Groves needs to drop down a level and reset. Still very young.

                  No need to fight Groves.

People say he'd beat Groves and maybe he would, but it would be a big risk.

Badou Jack is the better option I think, but let him take his time.

Sure it would be a risk but shouldn't the fights at this level be risks , most thought the Rocky fight was.
