I believe everyone in their hearts knows he can't beat Ward which is why his detractors want to see him face Ward and his supporters do not.

GGG is a good fighter but not a great one. Great fighters have always moved up in weight and sought out challenges while he has not.
Lots of great fighters never moved up, or took a while. Like Hopkins stayed at MW till 41? With biggest wins vs blown up welters. Ward hasn't really moved up yet, and he "cleaned out" his division 4 years ago, and is now crying about being forced up. His best and only HOF scalp Froch never moved up. And GGG wanted Froch at 168, in the UK, remember? That's a hell of a SMW tuneup.

Mayweather was a proven ATG who had already beaten his biggest rival. There was no one else worthwhile for him; retirement was his most reasonable choice imo.

That being said, I think that those fights are about equally unreasonable to ask for. You on the other hand only find one of them unreasonable.

No, there's no need to move up in weight to be considered great. Look at Monzon, look at Hagler. What can you say about them? nothing. Great HOF'mers.

Golovkin is still looking for two titles in the MW division, and once he gets them, he may go up for a few fights in 168, who knows. But what we know is that he has no problem to make the 160 weight.

Also, you mention that he wins due to his size and power. Power is all his merit, he trains hard for it and also he's a natural power puncher, but size? he's an average MW, he's not big at all for the MW division.

GGG moving up to 168 is his 1st time moving up and he is prime

how in the hell can you compare the 2?

same damn fans riding with both fighters and blindly hating on the other

and if they fight it will be a boring 1 sided fight where 100 excuses are made after the fight rinse and repeat...

**** is down right hilarious..glad i dont have a dog in this fight, now i get to sit back and see how ****** it really is
Kind of a weird fight, since Ward is fighting at 175 and GGG is still at 160. Don't see how this fight makes sense. Instead, lets see Ward-Kovalev. Clearly, Kovalev has the advantage and would probably stop Ward or possibly one sided beating of Ward.

Again, if Ward were a 168 fighter I'd understand where you are coming from but he has not fought at 168 in 2 dam years and has not shown any intention of returning to 168. What you are asking Golovkin to do is fight a 175 fighter, that is plenty unreasonable.

GGG is a middleweight, if Ward want's him tell him to start on Jenny Craig and make the 160 lb weight.

You do, if your competition are not posing a threat. Monzon and Hagler at least fought their fair share of challenging fights, hence, why they are considered great.
