Exciting, humble, two real champions in and outside of the ring.

Ward has alot in common with Mayweather.

I have to say, after Mayweather-Pacquiao, does anyone else really want to see anything like it again?

In this case, I think Ward is too big and the Ward fans want GGG to lose to their guy so they can brag.

However, I wouldn't count GGG out. Unlike Pacquiao who was mainly as outside fighter, GGG gets on the inside and would make it an inside fight and let's face it. He has a mean streak in him that Pac didn't have when he met Mayweather.

Either way, if Ward wants a fight, it's Kovalev. If he's so bad ass, then he'll have no trouble 7 pounds up, just like Ward fans say GGG shouldn't have a problem moving up 8 pounds.

I think it's funny because the desperation for the Ward fans to see this fight is pretty pathetic. Ward doesn't have the giant name Mayweather has. He has no leverage at this point.

No comparison in quality but a very similar draw/fanbase. They both appeal to the causal/less educated fans because both guys bring the action. Not that knowledgeable fans can't like them. I think most do appreciate them, at least on some level. But, people who can't understand the complexities of technical fighters can find something to like in high-action guys like Pac and GGG.

The problem with passionate but less educated fans is that they are nuisances when it comes to debate/conversation. They don't have any facts in their favor so they resort to getting aggressive, lying, trolling, etc. I personally don't have a lot of feeling about Golovkin, one way or the other. But, the infestation of rabid and ignorant Golovkin fans on here is a real annoyance.

And I can say that I'm pretty pissed off, disappointed, over the way his career trajectory has gone over the past few years.

It's pretty valid the backlash he has took and will continue to take on here.

Can't really draw a line in the sand, and go full on Crip and Blood over it between the two.

At least with Mayweather and Pacquaio, both fans believed in their fighter, and wanted the fight to happen.

In the case of Ward vs GGG, seems as only Ward fans want the fight to happen!
