You mustn't be familiar with any of my past post . My issue with him is that the guy who runs to him (Ward) , he runs away from , and it's a winnable fight for him possibly . It's a good viable matchup , probably the best in boxing right now .
There not even in the same division.

Ward spent years cleaning his Division out, forcing Dawson to come to down in weight, no one had a problem with it.

You know what, why won't Floyd move up and fight GGG. That would be a megafight, everyone would tune in, GGG would take that fight in a heartbeat. That fight is WAY bigger than Ward vs GGG.

Thats how ****** it sounds to tell GGG he has to move up to fight Ward.

Edwin Rodriguez was the #6 SMW in the world when he fought Ward. He was not a bum or a tune-up.

... To be more precise... When entering the Super Six Ward only fought the "mandatory opponents" in that tournament... So, since 2009, Ward "willingly" fought: Bika at 168; Dawson (the 175 champ but at 168); Smith (a washed up 168 who came at 176 on the scale).

Let me make this crystal clear :

I don't believe that ANYONE in the 160 pound division has anything for GGG , including Quillin , Lee , Lara ect. Although many of my fellow Ward fans will disagree about Lara .

I realized this once he stopped Murray of whom I have high regard for . Lemeiux was just a cherry on top .

What's of paramount importance to me is seeing competitive fights . I'd love to see Lara vs Murray or Murray vs Lemeiux or Lara vs Lemeiux or Quillin vs Murray . GGG vs Ward is competitive as well and GGG has the capability to upset Ward although I'd be rooting for Ward .

What I don't wanna see is Ggg vs anyone I can go to Vegas and bet the house on with the kids in it , which equates to anyone in the 160 division

Ward is a great pretender. He makes it appear that he wanted Golovkin when the truth is that he made absolutely no effort to make the fight happen at a time when GG camp was desperate for a fight. (The Lemieux fight was a gift from heaven.) Ward had all the time in the world to push for the Golovkin fight. He did nothing. He just kept blowing smoke.

He was finally forced to make an offer at a time when he knew GG was already signed to fight Lemieux. Funny part in Ward's offer was that the fight was supposed to be held late next year. Meaning, he needed 2 tuneup fights first before fighting Golovkin.

Don't know what happened to him. But the article shows that he's a confused individual who doesn't know what he wants with his career. He thinks he's somebody, so had to make up lies to feed his huge ego.

I hope your not venturing to call Bika a Can as everyone knows Bika gives everyone a tough fight . He's almost like Boone who record belies his viability . Dawson was formidable as well , that is until Ward got done with him , of which he was then never the same . If he was weight drained , oh well , as it was his own fault for asking to come down to Wards weight . Dawson wasn't washed up UNTIL Ward got through with him .

Even if Ward DID want to face Golovkin, as he deceptively claimed, the fight could not have happened right away. Ward needed ample preparations, ie, tuneups. But Team 3G is a busy team, 3-4 fights a year, they say. Such team could not possibly wait for a wishy washy guy like Ward. It's a waste of time.
