Why do lil g fans give Ward **** for fighting Smith as a tuneup, but not lil g for fighting Lemieux, one of his best career wins?

Do lil g fans even realize Smith had just came off a very competitive fight with Abraham 2x? Smith even hurt Abraham in their fights.

Meanwhile Lemieux had already been walked through by a 156lber, Alcine, and KO'd by a journeymen Rubio.

I clearly remember Rubio coming in what was it, 1-2lbs over weight for his Golovkin fight and lil g fans going crazy, "Not fair, he should be DQ'd!"

Smith came in 4lbs+ over weight, came in cruiser on fight night and not a peep out of lil g fans lol.

... do you know any titleholder at 160 who willingly called GGG? And don't give the Lemieux example, because in his case it was about Oscar...

Actually that speaks to MY POINT .
Do u know any 160 titleholders who should ??? They , like me , all recognize that GGG would tear their azzes apart , therefore they avoid him . They, like me , already recognize he's the best at 160 and therefore don't really care to fight him .
They , like me , would love to see him pack his sh.t and move up .

Now I know what your gonna say next , your gonna say: "But that's his natural weight division, blah , blah , blah" . But it almost equates to The Rock , squeezing into a size 17 shirt just because he can , just to accentuate his chest and 30 inch biceps . How long has GGG been milking the tit in that division , over 5 years ? It's time to move the f.ck on , buy a clue !

He fought Ishida off tv for peanuts. It was a stay busy bout under the radar just a month after he beat Rosado, complete opposite of Mr "Give me $2mill on put me on tv for a tune up once every 6 months". On top of that, atleast Ishida had just went the distance with Paul Williams and Dmitry Pirog after beating Kirkland, so it gave fans some relative context.

He fought Rubio in order to tie down the WBC title, to make himself mandatory for the lineal title held by Cotto.

Monroe was a stay busy fight at a time when Golovkin had few opponent options. Monroe had a good streak of wins on ESPN over Vera, Adams, Kopylenko where he only lost a few rounds in total. Monroe was a slick southpaw and people hadn't seen Golovkin fight that style in awhile so there was a little intrigue. Again, it was an inexpensive fight, and judging by the gate & tv numbers it still did just as good as Ward's biggest on record with Dawson.
