Where exactly is the lie? I never said that it wasn't Dawson's fault for making that offer. We are talking about what Ward has done.

He fought a reigning Light-Heavyweight Champion at 168. All he had to do is VOLUNTARILY agree to a catchweight of 169 (which would have been Light-heavyweight) and the fight would have been for Dawson's Title. Just one pound over 168, and he could've been a 2-division champ.

Point being that Ward has had it his way every time. A bigger man comes down in weight for him, and now he wants a smaller man to come up in weight for him ---while whining that he is being pressured to move up. When is it Ward's turn to start fighting outside of his comfort zone?

Name any fighter in history that was given their way by a reigning champion, and chose to give a counter offer that favored said champion. Singling Ward out for Dawson's goof is ridiculous. Any fighter that "gets it his way" voluntarily by his opponent isn't gonna say "Oh you're too kind, let me concede something since you're making me so comfortable." Get real :/

Again, when Dawson asked for the 170 catchweight and was denied, he could have called the fight off. No contracts were signed, he wasn't making any bigger money than he usually made, and he was fighting the #1 a weight class under him. No one would have blamed him for backing out. He brought it all on himself. Ward had it his way because Dawson gave it to him, and any other fighter would have done the same thing if in Ward's position.

TL;DR saying Ward had Dawson come down in weight is BS. That's where you lied lol

Like him or not, Ward has a valid point here.

Ward been acting like a ho lately. I'd understand the complaint more if he was fighting decent opposition at 168 but he ain't doing that either.

Ward is all about comfort zones. He always has been.

-Super six his fights had to be in his home town.
-He always wanted other fighters to come to him. GGG move up, Dawson move down, nothing else mattered, even when his own division was cleaned out.
-All fighters had to come to him looking for a fight. He rejected many himself and blamed it on his squabble with his promoter. The fighters he picked himself, were kinda laughable.

Simply put, he is hard to deal with. His moaning in this article tells me he is not happy at all going to 175 so we may see a change in plans.
