Come on man. He was offered 164, he was disinclined to acquiesce, although he said he would be willing to drop all the way to 160 to fight Mayweather. It's Ward that wanted nothing to do with GGG.

According to one of the guys commentating the Ward-Smith fight, Ward told him it would be a struggle to make 168 but he still wants to fight there. My guess is he's afraid of people his own size.

Ward is 100% right. There are double standards, certain fighters are given a pass and allowed to face weak opposition without criticism. While others fight the best and it's still not good enough to please the critics.

That's why he should just concentrate on making the most money that he can. Don't worry about pleasing people that are never going to like you anyway.

Shouldn't GGG wanna move up ? He's long over due isn't he ? There's clearly NO ONE who can fu.k with him in that division . But instead he stays planted and hides behind chasing / unifying the 160 straps as a protection, knowing he'll drop that goal faster than he rejected Wards contract (36minutes) to fight someone with a name that he knows he can beat like Froch or Cotto
