Thought it was his choice to move up. Apparently he's not comfortable with what he's been forced to do, lol.

Seriously though, he could have stayed at super middle, beat up on Badou and Degale etc and put more pressure on Golovkin.

hell, he could have used Andre Dirrell as a tune-up.

-All fighters had to come to him looking for a fight. He rejected many himself and blamed it on his squabble with his promoter. The fighters he picked himself, were kinda laughable.

Simply put, he is hard to deal with. His moaning in this article tells me he is not happy at all going to 175 so we may see a change in plans.
Bottom line is he can no longer make 168 but he doesn't want to face a ****er like Kovalev and the fans nor networks want to see him beating up on smaller scrub 168 pounders at 175 either.

He can now use the fans as a scapegoat to cover up the fact that it's his weight that is causing him to need to move up to 175. Now it's the fans who have demanded him to move up. Such a lame, just retire already Ward.

We want Ward to move up because it's clear that he has no competition at 68.
It's one of those with great talent comes great responsibility.
We want to see Ward in a competitive fight and we know we won't get those with the Rodriguez, and Paul Smith's of the boxing world.

Ugh.....one guy weighed in for like 158 or something for his 160 pound title fight. Another guy weighed in at 172 for his 168 pound title fight.

One guy has nothing going for him AT ALL at 168. The other guy has a mega PPV and division unification to look forward to at 160.

Why would anyone or anything need to protect a MW champ from a guy who falls into the LHW weight division?

You're right about all that but at the same time Ward has to realize he will never get full credit for that fight because of the weight, no matter who brought it up, that was far from the best Chad Dawson and that's not even up for debate.

So is this little W's excuse to b**** out on Kovalev after ducking GGG. Ward has to realise he is irrelevant and needs to work his way back to relevance. Until then f*** off coWARD!

Ward is 100% right. There are double standards, certain fighters are given a pass and allowed to face weak opposition without criticism. While others fight the best and it's still not good enough to please the critics.

That's why he should just concentrate on making the most money that he can. Don't worry about pleasing people that are never going to like you anyway.

There's no way HBO want Ward anywhere near Golovkin. And neither do Team GGG.

As much as I'd love to see Ward-DeGale, politics will now likely prevent it due to Haymon and Roc Nation not doing business together. Same goes for Badou Jack. Ward already beat Abraham who wouldn't leave Germany for that fight anyway.

Ward's only big fight left at 168 was if GGG strapped on a pair and eventually moved up. Unfortunately they showed no signs of doing that and have robbed the boxing fans of a potentially great fight.
Come on man. He was offered 164, he was disinclined to acquiesce, although he said he would be willing to drop all the way to 160 to fight Mayweather. It's Ward that wanted nothing to do with GGG.

Ward is right...but he looks ******ed because he isn't fighting anyone. Dude feels the fans owe him for doing the Super 6.
