I think this is a good 50/50 matchup. I'm picking Cotto, KO in 9.

That means Cotto has to be aggressive.

That's true but so does cotto lol. It will be very interesting who controls mid to late rounds because both of them tend to fade.

Honestly, Freddy has a bit of a point here. Canelo exerts a lot of energy and sometimes slows. I'm hoping his trainers get real serious about his cardio because in a couple years he won't have youth to rely on for endurance. He looked better against Angulo. Crisp the whole time. And, fairly decent against Lara. Kirkland tired him out quickly and I think that was a matter of Canelo not breathing properly when blocking and striking. Got too caught up in the firefight.

A huge factor why canelo fades late in fights fights is the way he fights. The guy throws hard ass combinations everytime, he explodes then rests. It's all fast balls.

It takes a special kind of athlete to sustain that kind pace and intensity for 12 rounds. I don't think canelo cardiovascular endurance ceiling is that high to begin with then add the way he fights = fatigue issues late in fights.

Of course he Gasses out, he drains so low

First of, yea he gasses out. Won't matter, Cotto isn't gonna win.

Cotto has not improved under roach. It's bs. Cotto list to Trout. Canelo beat trout.

Canelo will pound Cotto to a TKO if not KO.

                    However, Canelo does gas out.

From 172+ to 175, Canelo drops 20 pounds to make weight. That hurts anyone's conditioning.

Which is what I don't get. They think MW is weak, draining hurts him, but he still does it.

                    Oh, that's right. It's not MW, it's 155.

I'm taking Saul. He's been wanting to fight Cotto for ever. You should of seen his face when Trout stomped Cotto??? He was ringside wearing an I Love Cotto t-shirt rooting his @ss off for Cotto...
