Nope not fear itself. Just Ward and Canelo.

Canelo himself says he won't fight GGG at 160.... yet it's GGG who's scared of Canelo. Seriously.... if this isn't outright trolling, it's pretty damn close.

What happens in the later rounds when Gennady finally has an actual opponent in front of him in the later rounds and he realizes all those easy fights didn't prepare him to dig deep? In that moment Canelo will take his soul.

Kirkland was there to be hit..... all fight long. He was given practically no chance other than a lucky homerun shot. It's well documented that without Wolfe he's like a deer caught in headlights. It's was batting practice for Canelo... another well-chosen opponent. And yet based on this massacre, you've surmised that Canelo will "take his soul"?? Damn. I wish I could buy into that fantasy, but somehow it doesn't add up. Canelo has a very carefully crafted record. The only quality win on his record is Trout. GGG will eat him up and spit him out. If..... Canelo gets past Cotto and even a bigger IF..... Canelo has the balls to fight GGG at 160. But he won't.

Kirkland's decision to not have Ann Wolfe wasn't a contract stipulation. Only Kirkland knows why he inexplicable and unexpectedly didn't train with her. Every punch Kirkland throws is a home run shot though. The fact that Canelo beats a guy like Kirkland and people treated it as a walk in the park just goes to show how elite Alvarez is. Look the Cotto win is a formality. You can bump this thread after Canelo topples the lineal champ. Lets face it Canelo gave Cotto every advantage to make this fight happen. It will be a legit clear win against the biggest and most established name thats still in the sport. We know pacman is too small and he isn't trying to call out smaller guys like that. Cotto was the biggest fish to fry and he is coming to fight night with his skillet. Get your coronas ready and don't forget the

Tell me Canelo's going to beat Cotto and we can argue back and forth. But tell me GGG is scared of Canelo, and I'm thinking you don't know your stuff as much as you think you do. I don't think you even believe that's true.

You just mad that GGG stay taking all these dudes out.
Andy Lee has been calling out genad. If GG took on Lee it would actually be the biggest win of his career. Thats pretty underwhelming.

Ok... I'll briefly let you off the hook from the real thread topic (GGG being... cough... scared of Canelo).

Let's see. Canelo is younger, bigger, and fresher than Cotto. Cotto is a 154-pounder at best. Canelo could fight at 168 if he wanted to. Cotto has had numerous wars with big-name opponents over his illustrious career. Canelo was handfed until basically the other day. Cotto takes a good shot... but Canelo's chin, although basically untested, might be better than Cotto's. So all in all it explains why Canelo should be heavily favored to beat Cotto, right?

Ok... here's your "entertaining fantasy". Cotto is 10 times the boxer Canelo is. He showed it against guys like Judah and Mosley. Canelo showed his ineptness in that ridiculous showing against Mayweather. Cotto has adapted his whole career, through a parade of trainers and styles. He made the adjustments necessary to win some important, high-profile fights. Canelo has only ONE style.

So really.... it's not that unfathomable to think Cotto could beat Canelo.
We'll just have to wait and see on Nov 21, won't we.
