Would making the fights shorter make boxing more popular?

    No, when you see great boxing, 12rds is PERFECT. Watch some of those classic fights with guys like DLH, Barrera, young Pac, Morales and tell me you want them shorter.

      They should definitely go back to 15 rounds. When a fight is back and forth, trust me. It isn't about time. Boxing fans can't get enough of a great fight. I could have watched Barrera and Morales for fifty rounds if they fought like they did in their first fight. The fights are boring because of boring styles. Provodnikov and Bradley would have been much better at 15 than 12. It would have had a different outcome to me.

        Making championship fights shorter would be a travesty that drove people away. I think championship fights should be 13 rounds. Less chance of a draw, without the risk 15 rounds once posed.
