His fans don't want to see him face Ward because they know deep down he is not good enough to beat Ward.
Golovkin will move up when he starts complaining that making the weight is killing him like Floyd used to. Too bad he didn't turn pro at 18 and draining himself neither, he'd be at like his 4th weightclass, it would be amazing that a former "natural" light-welterweight became such a destructive middleweight as he is.

What many of them fail to realize is that there's a difference between moving up and growing out a division.

De La Hoya grew out of 147 to 154 he moved up from 154 to 160.

Manny grew out of 135 to 140. He moved up from 140 to 147.

Mayweather grew up from 140 to 147. He moved up from 147 to 154.

How you get bonus points for growing up. It's not like he had a choice in the matter. The fact is Floyd can't make 130, 135, or 140 so where else is he suppose to fight.

Maybe he should create his own weight class like Canelo at 144 and call it Weather Weight.
So I guess Manny Pacquiao should not get a ton of credit for going up 8 weight divisions since he too grew up. Yeah GGG can make 160 but its said he walks around at 170 (usually his fight night weight) and his own trainer has said he was willing to fight anyone at 168 but Little G would rather pick on no hopers at 160.

You have a comeback for everything. Just admit you're wrong and move on.

Manny gets credit because he's a great fighter. He'll be great even if he resume consisted of just 126 to 130.

LOL only certain fighters deserve credit for growing out of weight classes to you I guess. I love how you Pacquiao fans pick and choose criteria when it comes to rating certain fighters.

Rigondeaux is getting close to one year of not having a single fight, and to his credit only had one really good win with a very small resume. Despite this, he's rated very highly on most lists.

Canelo has only one really good win, and it was a controversial one at that. He probably does deserve to be rated higher in most lists, but I guess people don't want to after he lost to Mayweather. He has some decent names, but most of them were already done/shot to ****.

Also, I had Lara slightly winning but regardless I saw a close fight.
this! Rigo has one very good win and lots of inactivity. Nothing else

He doesn't get embarrassed by brawlers like Maidana.
great post SilverMiles. I see the hate behind this anti -GGG , Kovalev movement. The Floyd nutthangers are the same ones who love Broner and Ward. Sorry fellas it's true. All these World Star idiots who think they know boxing cause they have been slap boxing on the street corner. Please it is very obvious. GGG is talented and can't help that everyone has been ducking him,. These haters are the same ones who would say Stevenson is better than Kovalev. We all know a duck when we see one. Why can't everyone just admit the dude can fight. He doesn't run around flashing money, yet on fight night he holds and runs like a b****. Facts folks .

You really think Maricio would last longer than Geale against GGG? He would be destroyed in 4 rounds tops. Garcia should be ashamed of struggling with him and losing to him.
Geale don't even have heart, let alone half the skills of Herrera. Take that ******ity elsewhere.

So Doctor tell me what Herrea does so much better than Geale?

You think a guy who started boxing 20 would know more and be more skilled than a Olympian. Herrea has surprised some fighters because no one took him seriously. He's a journeyman, plain and simple.

GTFO, Geale beat Felix Strum in Germany what exactly has Maricio done?

You can like him more but that doesn't change the facts. Both are B fighters, one more accomplished than the other.
