Golovkin's earned his spot in the top 10, as he's dominated 7 Ring top 10 MW's: Lemieux, Murray, Rubio, Geale, Macklin, Stevens, Proksa. That's based on Ring's criteria not opinion.

And **** Ward. He only makes the list at all based on potential, but he hasn't beat another top 10 MW since Rodriguez 2 years ago, then Froch 4 years ago. At some point you fall off, otherwise lets add Jones & Hopkins back to the list at the top.

Rigo is another guy overrated. His win over Donaire was over 2 years ago and he's did nothing of significance before or after with his measly 15 professional fights.

How anyone can look at this list and think GGG deserves to be #3?

1 -- I guess that the Ring board knows better if Ward needs to prove himself or not...

2 -- call me again when he fights Kovalev...

Ward shouldn't be in the list.

Agreed with most of this. I don't question that Ward is an excellent fighter but his recent few years have been two weak to have him as high as #4.

Rigo is slipping down mine gradually as he continues to remain inactive. That may not be his fault but that doesn't change my opinion. The good news is he will be the mando for Quigg/Frampton winner which, if he wins that, will make his placement on a P4P list much more defendable.
