I want the rematch with Gary Russell Jr, I still think Lomachenko wins but I think Gary has done more than enough to deserve a rematch.

Salido and Martinez will have their Third bout in early 2016 (February-April), that will give Lomachenko time to have one more fight at 126.
They should try to pursue Rigo, but if he doesn't want it then just move on. If it's not Rigo, then get him the best opponent possible/available in early 2016.
After that, Loma should move up and fight the winner of Salido-Martinez III (there are no fights for Loma at 126, unfortunately). Loma is the WBO Featherweight champion, so once he moves up he has priority to fight for the WBO Super Featherweight belt.
He ends his 2016 fighting Walters or Uchiyama. I really want to see that Uchiyama fight before Takashi calls it a day. Uchiyama would be a more difficult fight than Walters in my opinion.
If that could happen it would be an amazing year and most likely a lock for fighter of the year. Knowing Top Rank they probably will have him waste another year.Comment

Yeah, I don't trust Top Rank. They need to start pushing him now!
Some of it could happen though. If Loma gets out of the Koasicha fight unscathed, then he should be back around the same time Salido-Martinez III is scheduled. Let's say April (or March), if Pac fights in April why not have Loma in the Co-feature against Rigo or the best opponent available (to let Loma defend his 126 belt one more time).
Then after that fight he enforces the WBO Super Featherweight Champion to defend against him sometime in late Summer. Hopefully it's Salido, that Salido rematch NEEDS to happen.
Those two things are definite possibilities, they could happen.
Getting Uchiyama would be pretty difficult, but Uchiyama has expressed interest in fighting in the States before, so why not offer him a fight toward the end of 2016. That would be a great name to have on his resume. Probably the hardest fight for Loma as well.
I didn't want Loma to move up so quickly, but he really has no choice. The good thing about moving up is that he creates another opponent for the future. Oscar Valdez will most likely fight for the vacant 126 WBO belt. That's another future Loma opponent. Top Rank has to start thinking.Last edited by HI-TECH Boxing; 11-05-2015, 05:44 PM.Comment
