Ward's chin has been upgraded to Diamond. Khan should take notes, and Virgil orders a pizza

Was impressed that he popped back up and smiled. I think the trouble so many are having is that they assured themselves Kov MUST win after that. Then, couldn't handle the truth when Ward took the fight back.

'Finish', as in, closing out the show. Kovalev was a step behind in the last half of the fight.

As Eddie Hearn said; "I thought Ward stole it..Kovalev should kick himself for last 6"

Ward outclassed Kova's conditioning. This was pure A game Ward.

People say Kova looked horrid back home against Chilemba, slowing down in later rounds and gasping for air. Nobody's ever seen Kova gas out like tonight. 12 rounds with Ward is extremely hard, and Kova "witnessed" it as he said...

Ward imo has figured out Kova's game. Anybody saying Ward performed the same feim the first half to the last is insane. Ward stepped it up like a true champion. Kova's performance and confidence withered away. I think Kova realized how strong Ward was on the insane. The bear hugs gassed out the Krusher

I think that was also part of Kovlev's issue he hurt Ward early and figured he could force it again. Then when it didn't and the fight was slipping away it was already too late for him as Ward had took control.

Yea, and he did it with a haze over him the whole fight having been KD'd early.
Unfortunately for Kovalev, the rematch always favors the thinker. The guy who will figure out the other.

It's called "weathering the storm" folks. Ward earned that shyt. Traded with the Krusher for much of the fight and didn't pull any tricks to win. THAT'S the heart of a champion.
