He's not heavily slept on ... but he is "heavily favored" as in the judges heavily favored him in P.R against Herrera. That was scandalous.

Almost every top fighter has one or two questionable decisions on their dossier. Get over it. Even if he lost he's still someone capable of winning the tourney.

Have two of the fights on the same card or within a week of each other. And it should be fighters that are young and in their prime. Fighters in their 30's shouldn't be considered as the expectation would not be for them to be the face of boxing for years to come.
If you're good enough you're young enough.

There's barely 6 solid guys in the listings of any ranking organization at any weight class because they won't rate some of the top guys in the other organization's rankings.

Just read the summarised minutes from the WBC Convention. The WBC will approach the top 15 fighters @ 147 & 154, to see if they are available for the tournament.

This is just another ploy by the WBC to get a sanctioning fee for each fight that takes place in the Tournament. It looks like it will take years, for us to end up with the actual Champion.

And we thought the WBC were doing this to get the top guys in ring SMH. The reason for this tournament is that it prevents fighters that are unheard off from fighting for the World Title. How are Khan, Garcia, Porter & Guerrero unheard off?

Yeah but he was beaten and exposed by Herrera if not on the cards. Ditto Peterson although that was closer. So I don't get your "heavily slept on" comment. Neither Herrera nor Peterson are elite and I doubt Khan is either.

This is long overdue. It wasn't right that Floyd got to keep the belts this long after he retired (allegedly IMO). This should get guys in the ring.

Lets just make it 4 man tourneys and get it done this year.
