I have no idea how the workings of the WBC mandatory/purse bid etc work. I'm a huge Wilder fan but even I see that he needs to step up his competition drastically. If the Povetkin fight can't be made right now, at least fight someone in the top 10, not this 20-30 rated garbage he's fought lately

Spot on. Team Wilder are praying that Povetkin will tire of the delays and pursue another route to a title.

i hope he picks povetkin and beats him to shut you no facts giving fans the hell up..povetkin could have asked wbc to enforce mando..instead he asked to fight once more in russia..using your voluntary defenses does not mean ducking..it means voluntary defenses..

Speaking of Povetkin...why doesnt Ward move up and fight him? I mean wasnt the plan to be HW champion by now? Id love to see Ward vs. Povetkin.

I hope Wilder will fight better opposition than Duhaupas and Molina. Maybe someone around Povetkins height?

This is exactly right. So who's going to be the latest bum of the month that Wilder's team will deem worthy of a fight for the world title?
