Because they're dimwitted, angry, Golovkin fans. Ward specifically targeted Kovalev by changing weight classes, contacting with HBO, and including a Kovalev fight in the negotiations. You guys can deny logic all you want but the facts will persist without your approval. Get used to it.

You really have to start asking yourself questions about these guys' motives for following the sport.

After the fight is signed:

Stevenson ran away after that.
The whole time Ward was inactive he was talking like he was ready to fight and just waiting on an offer.
Stevenson called him out right there in the ring post fight.
Said 168 in Oakland 175 in Canada.
Dawson said 168 and Ward jumped all over that lol.
Stevenson and Ward didn't already agree to that before the fight so that's why it didn't happen.

It's the Super 6 all over again. I didn't like Ward then but I quickly learned to get over it and appreciate his talent because there's no one on the horizon who is beating him. People want to act like Kovalev is some kind of evolution in boxing. They'll soon see what I've been saying all along.
