When did I say I wanted Golovkin-Canelo to be for the belts? I would fully expect that to be a non-title fight. I don't even think Cotto-Canelo should be for a belt seeing as Cotto doesn't truly fight at 160. Some fights are bigger than belts.

Also, where did I say I wanted Golovkin to fight Ward? It's the exact same situation. If Golovkin doesn't want to go to 168 and Ward doesn't want to go to 160 then I would like to see it at the even compromise of 164. I'm not pushing for Golovkin-Ward, it's not likely to happen and therefor I don't give it any real thought.

Not only have they not signed the contract, Ward is using the dreaded "at some point" when Kovalev is brought up.
