Comments Thread For: Golovkin: No Chance I'd Go To 155, 156, 158 For Canelo!

Dude he is the mandatory challenger to the MIDDLEWEIGHT title. He could be the Z-side for what it is worth but he doesn't have to negotiate over the weight.
If Canelo wins and doesn't want to defend at 160 he gets stripped simple as that.Comment

What he meant was the fact that he clearly said he will fight at 160-168 but ward the best fight at 168 has to come to 164 which is a huge and one if the biggest ducks in recent timesLast edited by Rudiamonds; 11-03-2015, 01:11 AM.Comment

Asshats talking about he's making demands...I could understand if it was venue, gloves, date...but he's actually entitled to what the clowns here call demands. It seems folks up here only like for rules to apply when it's convenient for them. He's not telling Canelo to come in at 160, Canelo is free to come in at 155 if he wants. His opponent is under zero obligation to do so. END OF STORY.Comment

WBA/IBO/IBF middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) will not consider the possibility of a catch-weight bout with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez - if the Mexican star defeats WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Golovkin also holds the WBC's interim-championship and he is the mandatory challenger to Cotto's world title. The World Boxing Council has ordered the Cotto-Canelo winner to face Golovkin next.
