And they offered Ward his fights, Ward turned him down.

Ward didn't want it until after GGG signed to fight Lemieux, and became Mandatory to the WBC.

And the reason it didn't make sense was because Ward was asking them to sign a contract 18 months in advance of the fight. Ward wanted them to wait around until he did tune ups, and then fight.

They said they felt by the time Ward was really ready, they'd be worth more than 50/50

They made it clear Ward wasn't being serious. No one signs a contract that far in advance.

Today Ward said he will meet Kovalev at some point.

Although the HBO deal was for 3 fights, Ward seems to be thinking he won't be fighting Kovalev at the third fight.

Not even Ward would sign a contract with a fight a year and 6 months in advance.

Truth be told, Lil G is a coward now that he see's Ward moving up to 175 lbs he yaps his mouth that he'll fight anyone 160-168 lbs, LMFAO what a joke. All these Lil G groupies seem fine with him never taking a risk that is why he'll never be more than a hype job/paper champion. At 34 yrs old Lil G is running out of time he needs a big name in his resume in order to be seem legit but by his history i doubt he'll ever take a risk.
