I would like to see Russell winning, sir

Unfortunately, I dont see that happening. I see Leo Santa Puss imposing his height and reach to a russell that would try to stay on the outside....

Ps: Im not a fan of Leo Santa Puss, I just call it like I see it

I don't think he hits harder, it's more precision. Speed allows a flush shot. He lands while guys are over reaching, or day dreaming, and misses when he faces speed.

If Santa Cruz beats Russell then the obvious next fight is Lomachenko.

Lomachenko should fight Selby, Cuellar, or Mares in the meantime. Or target Gamboa at 130.

At the World Boxing Council's spectacular Convention in Kunming, China, Leo who's been WBC super bantamweight champion, and is currently the WBC Diamond featherweight champion, says the next step is to take on Russell, who holds the WBC's full title at 126-pounds and defends it next Saturday night against Oscar Escandon.

Mares was a very good win, backing that up with Russell would be superb.

I still like Loma/Walters, why did that talk die off.

Russell/Leo, Loma/Walters, winners fight, see if Russell can earn his rematch.

I believe the talk died off due to weight difficulties on Walters' behalf. Also, seeing as how Russel and Leo are under the PBC, I doubt Arum would want to work out a deal. Especially with the lawsuit Arum is pushing on to Haymon.

So are they fighting each other next then?
That's an in house fight to make.
