You don't make that big a jump in the lower weight classes unless you're undisciplined making weight or cutting down too much. My guess is Inoue was cutting down too much. When you put them side by side you see the difference in weight.Comment

If ever, the more I read the more Roman is pricing himself out against Estrada and vice versa, Roman knows Inoue is a legit threat to beat him, more legit than anyone else at those weights, but you're right, Roman will avoid him, eventually Inoue moves up after the next fight or two, Roman and him probably will never fight.Comment

Or avoiding shark infested waters at 112, theres zero weak major champions at the weight. Its hard to blame him when he had 7 pro fights only. The no 1 fighter at 115 was a much easier fight for a title in a higher weightclassComment

It sounds like the kid wants to fight but his handlers want to build him properly.
It's crazy to even mention a guy with 8 fights in the same sentence as the top p4p guy.
Must say a lot about the beast!Comment

Inoue 8-0
Gonzalez 44-0???
I guess Inoue is that good of a fighter when with few fights, he being matched against a veteran undefeated champ.
Gonzalez should rematch Estrada first because that will be a good fight.Comment

Fighting a killer like Gonzalez in his 9th pro fight would be a huge ask, needless to say, and likely wouldn't end well for Inoue.
Gonzalez has had a number of fights in Japan, and that fight should happen in the future hopefully, but realistically it is quite a ways off.Comment
