Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury Hints at Retirement After Beating Klitschko

Undefeated Tyson Fury (24-0, 18KOs), 27-years-old, says he may very well retire - win or lose - after the upcoming fight with WBO/IBF/WBA/IBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko. The clash is scheduled for November 28th in Dusseldorf, Germany.

In past interviews, Fury promised to retire if Klitschko (64-3, 53KOs) managed to defeat him.

Now Fury is hinting that he might decide to end his career on a note, by beating the man who dominated the heavyweight division for over a decade.

If he can beat Wlad, he can beat probably almost anyone else. Might as well stay in and beat Wilder as well, then retire before Anthony Joshua starts dominating the HW scene.

Sounds like he's already lost. I'm surprised Fury and Haye dislike each other so much, given their similarities.

Fury is the biggest wind up merchant in boxing. He could give two completely contrasting interviews and people don't know which one to take seriously.

I think that's what prompted Wlad into faking that injury. He doesn't like unpredictability and wanted to regain control of the situation.

wladimir is going to finish what steve f#cking cunningham started.

i'm predicting a knockout with the left hook. fury is just too big to get out of the way of a right hand. he'll spend his entire camp focusing on dealing with the jab and the right hand. the hook when he steps back is going to be wide open.

mid-late round knockout w/ the left hook. fury is just too stiff to deal with a puncher like wladimir.

HW fights have a tendency to not happen for whatever reason. i hope these two actually fight.

Faking injury my a$$. He had no reason at all to fake anything. It's not like he cancelled the fight altogether. It's just thick to think he was even remotely bothered by Fury after Haye's antics. Please just stop it already.

Wladimir likes to be in control. He wasn't in control of that press conference. He was being shouted at and talked over. Do you really think he got an injury on the flight home or something? Lol....

He wanted to pull out to mess with Fury after all the pull-outs Fury has suffered in the past. Thinking it would give him the psychological edge.

He doesnt have an injury, he's just going through some personal issues with his misses..

His wife checked herself into a rehab facility, she's been talking about being depressed and feeling no love for her child in a few interviews.

Its no coincidence 3 days after announcing a injury his misses checked herself into rehab for postpartum depression.
