Golovkin and his team made a business-related decision not to fight Andre Ward. Cotto has the same right to make a business decision not to fight Golovkin. The clowns on this site who support Golovkin think it is perfectly okay for him to decline to fight Ward, but claim Cotto is a coward for not fighting Golovkin. That is simply a case of their delusional minds working overtime!

Cotto can make as much money fighting any middleweight has he can fighting GGG. He can make a hell of a lot more money fighting a rematch with Mayweather or even Alvarez than he can fighting Golovkin. He will make the decision that is in his best interest, not the decision that is in the best interest of the haters on this site who are desperate to see him fight (and allegedly lose) against Golovkin.

They have no interest in factual information and when you pin down the truth, they change their argument in a straw-man sort of fashion so that they don't feel like they're wrong. Apparently, any boxer they like is bestowed with the powers to do no wrong. I think it's healthy to be a fan but refusing to look at your heroes in a critical way is weak minded.

GGG ain't getting sht but a crappy belt. While Cotto and Saul makes $$$$$$ and SELL a TON of PPV buys!!! There's like 47 other belts out. Some even have 2-3 Champions. I hope Cotto/Saul wait until the GGG/Lee fight is cannoned and then fight on that day. Burying that sht FIGHT to 15 PPV buys.

People can't seriously be implying that Cotto is afraid of anyone. Who the hell hasn't this guy fought over the course of his career? Win or lose, he's been in with every great fighter from the previous generation, spanning 4 weight classes.

He is legit. Who said he wasn't? He's a champion and the best in his division IMO. But his resume is mediocre in comparison to elite fighters. And it's **** compared to Ward's. Move on.
