That's the only excuse Khan cum drinkers come up with. "Nothing to gain". Lol. What is there for Provo to gain knocking out Khan? A "name" on his resume. Last we checked, Khan was KOd at 140 by Swift and a guy named Prescott. Also beaten by Lamont Peterson. Since arriving 4 yrs later at 147, Khan was handed a WBC #1 ranking before fighting anyone, then fought guys with Paulie Mags type power in Alexander, Algieri, then added Collazo to his monumental trilogy of wins! Two of Provo's losses could have gone either way, one was fight of the year, the other will probably be fight of the year, in both those fights Provo's opponents got a serious beatdown, the third loss in Algieri took a serious beating, dropped twice, and screwed out of a decision.

Use some common sense, that weak azz lost 3/5 fights excuse is hilarious. Call it for what it is, Khan has never grown a sack to take ANY risk since getting stretched out at 140, 4 years ago. Stop acting like Khan deserves star treatment, preferential match making like he's done anything special in recent times. Done nothing at 147 clown.

            But Provodnikov ?

I have no idea why Provodnikov is rated so highly.

What am I missing here ?

I see Provodnikov as a basic mid-level 140lb tough-guy, who is not world-class and never will be.

He's fun to watch against the right opponent, thats about it.

Khan already beat a much better fighter in Maidana.

Why would a basic 140lb tough-guy even be an option for Khan ?

I can't take this " duck " too seriously, but I'm sure it will get some air-time.
And what year did Khan get a controversial split decision over Maidana, and has refused to give him a rematch since? Was that like 2009, 2010??? At 140???? Let's talk about today. And don't minimize Matthysse recent loss, as though he's not valid. Khan has this reputation of talking a lot of smack, trying to sell himself a big payday based on what he did back in '09/'10 at 140. Get with the times. He won't fight anyone today who can hit.

I'm sorry but Khan is more talk than anything else. So instead of getting on here and saying anything negative like everyone else, I chose to be different. This is how Khan and his fans sounds like to everyone else.

Oh, and the name calling, grow up. You're only showing your true age and how low you have sunk in the earth.

Fight of the year at 147 vs Bradley, nearly had Bradley stopped, gave him the beatdown of his life. Probably fight of the year again with Matthysse this year, in s fight that could have gone either way. Got screwed out of a decision against Algieri where he had Algieri dropped twice in the first round, completely putting a baseball sizes closed left eye on Algieri. Khan wants no part of that, and for the same reason Khan also won't fight Thurman, Brook, Porter or Bradley. Don't talk to me about who is ranked, are they worthy. Phukk, Khan hasn't fought anyone at 147 that proposed a risk or hits hard. He fought Algieri scared all night long. Khan is a *****.
He pushed Bradley, because Bradley was ******, thats it.

                Lets just leave it there.

When you sign to fight Provo, you will be in a war for 12 rounds and you're gonna get hit harder than you've ever been hit. Khan wants no part of that. There are softer routes for him to take.
When you sign to fight Provo, you will not be in a top-level fight.

There are plenty of better fighters for Khan to duck than Provodnikov.

Don't care about this particular fight. In my opinion, Khan would have beaten Provo. But regardless, why not fight just someone? Fighting once an entire year? A fight against Algieri which nobody really watched. Why Khan?

He's not Mayweather. He needs to get active quick. These are his prime years.

I can't remember exactly. But by memory..... it was LONG AFTER Khan stopped fighting Provodnikov level opponents

Exactly, Khan is at welter now.

It is absurd for him to be fighting basic mid-level 140lb'ers.

Ummm..... Matthyse lost AGAIN..... AND he is not valid.

None of those mid-level 140lb'ers are valid when you are a supposed to be a top welter.

You casual fans have always over-rated Matthyse and Provodnikov.

Unsure why..... neither of them are world-class fighters.
