Canelo and Cotto or more competitive fights if he drains himself and his team knows it.
Yup! And in case GGG fans don't know what L. MW / Jr. MW / SWW is... It's 154 lbs.

Can you imagine that contract? If GGG misses weight he gets a dollar and the Kazak tv money Mayweather gets everything else. < 6 lbs. rehydration clause. Floyd's choice of gloves, ring size, etc... Personally I don't think Golovkin could even make 154 (a weight he hasn't fought at since he was an 18 year old amateur).

Golovkin and his team aren't fooling anybody.

Everybody knows damn well that they're going to take the 155 lb. payday from the Cotto/Canelo winner.

          The facts:

Floyd fought at 154 doe, 2 1/2 times doe.

You can't say Floyd beats him then makes excuses doe. (Actually you can), no substance doe.

GGG hasn't fought at 168 doe, not the same as a 3 time champ doe.

155 is one pound above 154 doe. Cotto and Canelo both been somewhere in between doe.

If and when GGG goes to 168, he's not required to fight Ward in his debut doe.
You do know that Middleweight in the Olympics is 165lbs??? So GGG is getting smaller as he gets older??? WOW!! Everyone else it's the other way! Good thing he fights every month to keep that weight off.

If Cotto/Canelo is competitive and there is appetite for a rematch then Golovkin under way more pressure to accept 155. If either fighter gets early tko then Golovkin's team will have more flexibility to negotiate - 157 for Cotto and 158 for Canelo.

I'm trying to figure out what the Olympics have to do with the pro's in your regards. Considering the weight differences applies to damn near every professional there is. Nice try though. Porter started at middleweight............

Remember when they were running their mouths hard about being willing to fight anyone from 154 to 168?

Now that has been adjusted....they will only go down to 154 for Floyd, and they'll still fight anyone at 168 EXCEPT for Andre Ward.

If Mr. 97k wants a fight, he better be prepared to come down to 147.
Floyd is still holding 2 SWW belts, a$$wipe. Don't you want GGG to get us rid of that fraud of a unified lineal champ?

Pressure from whom? From nsb posters? You have an overblown image of self-importance )) Every sane boxing fan understands that MW title shall be contested at 160 weight limit. If Cotto/Canelo "do not care about the belt", let the winner walk away from mandatory and get stripped. But this "not caring" part is a lie. They very much care, because they want to lure Mayweather with all his money to fight for this belt.
