Slinks fought MW in they Olympics and became HW champion as a pro. This guy is 33 with no names on his resume, fighting in a division where the lineal champ started at 135. The division is trash. I don't care if he gets a vacated belt & unifies against Saunders/Lee that doesn't make him great. Everyone said this guy was different, he's a real fighter, he's fighting for legacy. The difference is that Hagler had competition at that weight, GGG doesn't. Who on GGG's resume, or currently in the MW division Duran, Hearns, Leonard, Mugabi? If GGG unifies this current MW division it's nowhere near as impressive as what Hagler or Hopkins did.

Actually, Hagler also had issues getting people to face him. He had to get **** done enough were he couldn't be ignored anymore.

So when Canelo, a huge PPV fight, said 155 they've changed it to only 154 for Floyd. You don't have the ability to call a spade a spade. Floyd is a 3 (2) time champ at 154lb because he had the cojones to fight north of his preferable division on 3 separate occasions. It is not something that should be held against him; it is something that should be praised and the question you should be asking is why Golovkin won't go north of his division once.

Moreover, when was the last time Golovkin fought at 154lb? It's okay for him to test new waters against a smaller fighter, but moving up to 168lb is something to get squeamish about? **** outta here.
