And he's targeting a lesser star, who quite frankly is a much bigger threat to him than Gennady. While Gennady is still trying to sell the world on how important fights with Andy Lee and a couple jr middleweights are. Judging by that, and current resumes. I'd say Ward is far less likely the one that didn't want the fight and Team GGG was.
And get the hell out of here with the 'Jr MW' crap. Both Canelo and Cotto's resumes take a big dump on Ward.
As for "unification", this ain't the 90s. Boxing has evolved, and boxing fans have become educated to the fact that just because a guy has a belt, doesn't mean he's a good fighter. Unification is pointless when you have a guy that's supposed to be elite fighting C level bums. No matter how many belts are on the line. And judging by the backlash within the boxing community. And the box office flop the Lemieux fight was. Seems like very few are buying the company line that you and the other GGG d1ckriders keep regurgitating.
Oh they're not buying it? I could have SWORE that ESPN said the event was a financial success, I could have swore I saw Golovkin on Apple's commercial and I could have swore I read that he was in negotiations for several more endorsements.
But obviously the biggest company in the world doesn't know anything about marketing, unlike the 15 people on the board who literally post the same crap over and over and over again.
