Quite possibly. That fight was a monumental fraud. 4.4 million buyers (most probably not watching alone). Many of whom probably said to themselves, what the hell is this crap? I spent a hundred bucks for this? That's it, I'm never buying a fight again.

I don't think the May Vs Pac fight will poison the potential of this PPV card but I will say this the Russian card on November 4th looks more solid all the way through but obviously that huge fight of Canelo Vs Cotto, Puerto Rico Vs Mexico that's always gonna be a big seller but I do believe the sales of this fight could likely have been better If Floyd Mayweather didn't try to kill boxing on May 2nd for some he did kill it which is a shame this is why a lot of people hold absolutely zero respect to this guys name, he is bad for boxing and that truth will never die.

May Vs Pac was one of the most expensive and highly anticipated and most covered boxing fights of ALL TIME!
That fight got the sport in total attention, everyone was tuned in and Floyd Mayweather decided to put on the worst performance of all time for PPV performance he barely landed anything clean, he clinched and ran all the while getting paid his career highest payday he decided to not get fans talking in excitement about the sport after that event was done he instead aimed to get people saying UFC is better and boxing is dead and he exceeded in that, Floyd is bad for boxing and he would never have been a champion in the past eras, people pay to be entertained not to be bored.
