Sure, I will explain to you briefly. The rest, you go to your English dictionary.

You use "then" as a transitive, to get from one point to another. For example, "I will stop by Ali's and then come over there." You use "than" as a comparative, to compare two things or people--as in "Ali was more skillful than Foreman in Africa."

    Get it?
    Nice googling.

It is a shame that public schools don't properly teach English anymore, so that you had to resort to google though.

Don't say those are your own words. It was obvious you didn't know the proper usages.

I was just toying with you clowns.

Trust me, I know how to write.

He's the managing editor of Boxingscene, I think.
More attention should be paid to these hurried articles.

I'm an English teacher. Those are my words. Google is boring.
No need to call me a clown, dude. We don't know each other.

        Cheers.

[Wherever you are, they still seem to be confused about affect and effect, and Steve Kim's article has gone under construction since!]

          I doubt it.

          Nor am I.

I do live in Tokyo though.

English teacher as in Highschool English teacher, or English teacher as in you live in a foreign country and have conversations with foreigners?

Just wondering, because they aren't at all the same thing.

Oh before I'm assumed so, though I live in Tokyo, I am not an English teacher. I do teach English sometimes for some spare cash.

Not that there is anything wrong with teaching English abroad, just that isn't what my gig is.

That fight got the sport in total attention, everyone was tuned in and Floyd Mayweather decided to put on the worst performance of all time for PPV performance he barely landed anything clean, he clinched and ran all the while getting paid his career highest payday he decided to not get fans talking in excitement about the sport after that event was done he instead aimed to get people saying UFC is better and boxing is dead and he exceeded in that, Floyd is bad for boxing and he would never have been a champion in the past eras, people pay to be entertained not to be bored.
I'm sure if Pacquiao pulled off the victory no one would call it a dud. I honestly think people were upset that Mayweather was able beat Pacquiao the same way he was beating everyone else. He used a lot of movement and was able to slow down Pacquiao's offense. Everyone thought Pacquiao would be able to go in there and do the same he had done to everyone else. When it didn't play out that way people resorted to blaming the victor. I actually liked the fight but was surprised it wasn't more competitive.

Why? Is high school the premium? I never liked teaching in high schools. My specialty is academic writing (essays). It means university level writing, if you never wrote one before.

And, those overseas teachers are excellent. They do a good job. They are more qualified than most of your high school teachers who can't even explain to you the difference between affect and effect and then and than. Don't believe the **** you hear.

Also, you should never teach in Japan. We don't need to confuse those kids more. You are not qualified. If I was hiring a new teacher, it wouldn't be you. You don't even know basic things.

                  Bye for now.

Lmao shut the **** up, did you even watch the fight?
You're just being a tool right now with that comment, people were complaining with the blatant lack of action between two guys who made the majority of people who actually paid for this **** watch two old guys do absolute nothing atleast Pacquiao had a legitimate excuse with an actual injury which was PROVEN!
Whereas Floyd he was 100% healthy yet he wasn't willing to press and try and get a knock out, people watch to be entertained and whatever way you want to put it Floyd didn't do that he chickened out and barely did enough to take the win over a handicapped fighter.

Anyone who tries to make excuses for that fight has absolute zero love for the sport, it killed the potential of allowing a massive growth in the sport but instead we have a bunch of f@ggots leaching off one guys balls the only thing is these people are in a minority.

                      Lol, you sure are mad.

You looked at my internet forum posts and saw into my soul, did you?

I missed your AV. You are not just a clown, you are also a Flomo.

Cong**** on supporting boxing's biggest scam artist of recent memory.

You can't be a Flomo and also be a boxing fan, so maybe you should find a different forum to go bitch at writers.

Don't get me wrong, most boxing writers are terrible, and some of the articles here are questionable at best, but Boxingscene writing is on the whole decent, at least by boxing 'journalism' standards.

MMA writing is horrible. Maybe you should join an MMA site and go bitch at the writers there.

And yes, I know the differences.

And I never misused 'then' or 'than'.

I merely challenged you on whether you could state the difference.

But it turned out you had wrote an essay for a college writing class before, as you put it.
