It seems like Argentina was just barely heating up... With Maidana possibly leaving, Lucas losing in a disappointing manner, Maravilla retiring last year, and Narvaez losing to Inoue... It seems like a drought. I hope they produce some more world class talent soon, they always bring excitement to the sport.

Good to hear a story of a guy get out of the game at the right time. I mean think about it, what else could he really accomplish? He made it all the way to not only one but two fights with Mayweather, which far exceeded any expectations anyone had of him 5 years ago. Hell, people thought he was past his best days around the Alexander fight .
He could have a few more great entertaining fights surely, but if the motivation isn't the same there is no point hanging around and risk hurting yourself. If he's happy with his career and everything he's accomplished and doesn't have the desire to prove anything else, then it's time to leave and move on to a different chapter in his life. Good for him.

Now everyone seems to be failing to acknowledge your post lol. No one actually stops to read, I guess. I just hope when Chino comes back it's against someone he's not *meant* to lose to.
