It seems like Argentina was just barely heating up... With Maidana possibly leaving, Lucas losing in a disappointing manner, Maravilla retiring last year, and Narvaez losing to Inoue... You had to wonder how he could ever get back into fighting shape after adding all that weight and being out for so long. Still, this is saddening news . If he's happy then that's all that matters, but there were so many good match-ups still to be made for him. I kind of expected Haymon to sort of "cash him out" when he came back though. I thought he might use him to bolster Thurman's career, or maybe an Errol Spence...someone that would just be a bad stylistic matchup for Chino; glad that that won't be able to happen, anyways.
